Brigid and Marc were married downtown San Diego out on the lawn of the New Children’s Museum on a beautiful May day! While May in San Diego is often referred to as “Gray May” because it’s usually cloudy, that was not the case for this May day. We had perfect temps and warm sunshine!
I have had so much fun getting to know Brig and Marc throughout our time working together and it made their day that much more special for me, I was SO excited to see these two become husband and wife. Photographing them allowed me a small peek into their relationship and what I saw was a couple crazy in love. They are each other’s perfect counterpart and it’s quite obvious how great they are together.
Brigid and her ladies got ready at the beautiful Hotel Indigo downtown San Diego, the room had huge windows overlooking the Petco Park and surrounding buildings. Brigid wore a beautiful playful dress with crisscross straps in the back, it was perfect for her!
Marc and his guys spent the morning in Mission Bay at an Airbnb right on the ocean, the perfect place to have a couple beers and hang out before a busy day!
Marc and Brigid shared their first look outside the New Children’s Museum in front of its huge icon windows that are a big part of the museum’s beauty. We noticed after their first look that museum guests had been watching from the inside! There is a bench inside and a sign on the wall pointing to the outside that says “What Do You See.” How cool that those guests looked out and witnessed a bride and groom!
Brigid and Marc are not originally from San Diego but like so many have completely fallen in love with this city. They wanted photos in a place that truly represents its beauty so it was onto the party bus and off to Sunset Cliffs for photos!
How stunning are these bridesmaids?! #squadgoals
The New Children’s Museum is incredible. If you’re local to San Diego you’ve got to check it out, with or without children. The building itself is beautiful and oozing with creativity! We were able to sneak upstairs for a few minutes to grab a couple photos and then it was time to line up for the ceremony held out front!
Marc and Brigid love the outdoors. For their engagement session we went to Cleveland National Forest where they like to go camping. Marc even proposed to Brigid at the top of Half Dome! So it was completely appropriate that they light a mini campfire together during their ceremony, ammi right?! I love this because it was SO unique to them and completely original! At first it appeared that the fire wouldn’t light but after a few minutes it was a complete blaze!
