Lake Arrowhead Wedding | Lake Arrowhead Resort | Angeline & Miles

Angeline & Miles invited their family and friends to cozy and quaint Lake Arrowhead this summer for their wedding weekend. Lake Arrowhead is nestled in the majestic mountains of the San Bernardino National Forest….you can just call it the Alps of Southern California!
This was my second time in Lake Arrow head, the first being for their engagement session and I was SO pumped to be back!
Let me start by saying how much I freaking LOVE Angeline & Miles! They’re some of the kindest humans I have ever met and clearly they attract similar people because their wedding guests were all sooo fun and nice! I really don’t think I’ve witnessed a wedding with such lively wedding guests; everyone was energetic and genuinely pumped up to celebrate this couple! The energy was contagious; I was laughing and smiling the whole day!

The day began at Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa where Angeline and Miles spent their morning getting ready with their friends. Everyone was in such fun spirits when I walked in and I knew it was going to be a good day! Angeline had a squad of amazing bridesmaids! Just wait until you see them in their gorgeous maeve Vera Wang bridesmaid dresses.

The ceremony was held at Our Lady of the Lake, an absolutely beautiful Catholic church. The backdrop is all glass windows with views of the forest that it’s tucked into.
As a photographer, to walk into a church and see a huge wall of windows will make your day! (Churches are often dark and windows= great lighting)
Angeline and Miles waited to see each other until the ceremony and Miles’ face says it all! Can’t blame him though, Angeline looked absolutely flawless! It was a beautiful traditional ceremony that ended with the pronouncement of the new Mr & Mrs Ondoy!

We found a great location off the windy mountain roads to bring everyone for photos. If you are getting married in Lake Arrowhead you need some photos with an epic backdrop so I’m glad we found a spot to deliver that!

We made our way back to Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa for their cocktail hour and reception. We snuck away upon arrival to capture some photos on Lake Arrowhead.

I don’t know what’s happening here Miles, but I love it.

The rest of the night was speeches, dancing and FUN! Angeline and Miles, you guys are aces in my book. Thank you for inviting me to be apart of your amazing wedding! I will leave you two with this quote:
