Miss Jade is a Mankato West senior this year who is making her second appearance on the blog this year! I had the pleasure of photographing Jade and her two friends back in July and if you go take a peak you will see why I was very excited to photograph Jade again. She is GORGEOUS and a complete rock star in front of the camera. She definitely has the whole serious look down pat (a look I have yet to master…I always want to pretend I can pull it off…I really really can’t. I’ll stick to smiling). We started at Frozen Yogurt in Mankato for some indoor photos with some fun color. I bet you didn’t think FroYo would be such a sweet photo spot? If you’re still on the fence about it, Jade’s photos will prove you wrong! We then ventured to old town Mankato, a personal favorite of mine. No matter how often I shoot down there, I always find new textures and store fronts to use. So fun! We ended at the beautiful Rasmussen Woods, mostly because this year I’ve had a bit of an obsession with willow trees and I knew there was a perfect one there. What IS it about willow trees?? I just LOVE their movement and color.
Thanks for a fun evening Jeri and Jade!
Ohhh my gosh, that hair!! STUNNING.
